Salty Food Addiction??
Is it possible to actually be addicted to salty food? Well, doctors and experts have said for years that the added sugar and salt in food make us overeat. I mean take nuts, plain almonds vs salted almonds. Yes, you can for sure eat more of the salty ones.
A study published in Medical Hypotheses shows that salty food can activate certain pleasure centers of the brain and that can cause you to crave more and more of it.
Try reducing your processed food intake and don’t add salt to your food and ideally, track your sodium intake for a week and see how much you consume. I am sure it will be a shocking surprise for most people.
